 I apologize for the original listing having the incorrect description! I needed to end and start again in order to change the gallery picture. This is a really neat old button. it is enamel and what I think is brass on the base. It is a portrait of a woman. Her face is so unique that I wonder if it was made for someone. The condition is excellent ith no missing enamel. It is oval shaped,
