b) Replace only what's necessary for the radio to be reliable ,safe and do
all that possible to preserve the originality and historical value of the radio.
c.) Making the cabinet beautiful is not "Fully Restored Radio" It's just refinished cabinet,
there is a lot more that should be done like disassembling the chassis, washing parts (tuning capacitor)
replacing old dry out rubber grummets, dial cord, polishing dial face,cover, pointer + electronics +proper
alignment etc,etc....
- I have clients radio collectors all over the US and some in Europe
and sold over 200 radios on e-bay without one complain.

Small but beautiful highly collectible 1939 Emerson mod. 295
Elegant Ingraham cabinet with Inlaid Red.
Cabinet was professionally refinished using
very good quality Mohawk Lacquers sanded between layers
and then hand polished.
After compete electronics and mechanical restoration the radio plays very well.
Superb performance for a small 1939 set.
1.New set of felt washers behind the knobs to protect the finish.
2.Power cord was replaced.
3.Knobs are original.

Cabinet:
It took lots of time and attention to restore the cabinet giving it new hand polished
finish and safe the nice original vintage patina and that's what make it beautiful.
No clear poly coats, WD40 or other - let it shine for the photo tricks.
Chassis: Cleaned and protected with corrosion protector T9 ( Great staff developed by the Boeing Co.)
Tubes: Checked for emission, shorts etc. Replaced as needed.
Capacitors: Paper capacitors are replaced with new good quality caps as needed. Electrolytic are replaced.
( Most of the time I will rebuilt the multi section electrolytic capacitors inserting new caps inside, this
depends on the radio)
Resistors: Check for tolerance and replaced as needed.
Switches,dial mechanism: all mowing parts: Are cleaned, lubricated or replaced if needed.
Speaker: I always rejuvenate the speaker cone with the " The Wet Look" ( excellent product specially
formulated for speakers ) Some times the speaker would have to be reckoned and in worst case scenario
replaced.
Alignment & tuning: I perform full alignment for maximum selectivity and sensitivity of the radio if
such is in need.
Schematics: I will include schematics diagram with the radio if available.
Guarantee: I will guarantee for the radio to work when received + 30 days on tubes, if any tube fail I will
provide or install new one.
