Old Heavy French Street Sign II
Take advantage of my quick trip to NY this month. I can hand carry this to the U.S. and mail from New York on May 12. For U.S. buyers this means reduced shipping costs with tracking and quick delivery.
This is an unusually heavy sign and would cost about $40 to ship from France without tracking. If you win this item, you will be saving over $25 in shipping and benefit from a quick and secured, tracked delivery.
A great opportunity not to be missed!
This sign likely comes from the French Alps, as Jacques Replat is a locally born 19th century poet and author of Gothic and Medieval stories. The local nobility supported his writings in reaction to Napolean, the anti-royalist, who was in power at the time of Monsieur Replat's life.
Nicely styled street sign, pre-1950's.
Has a 3/4" lip around the edge.
In great shape for its age. The second from the last photo has a white spot - that's a flaw in the photo and is not on the sign.
Great piece!
17 3/4" wide
9 3/4" high
If you are the lucky winner, kindly pay immediately at the close of the auction, so I can ship to you while I am still in the U.S. and the cost will be $15. If paid after May 13, I will have to send it to a third party and the price will increase to $28 for shipping to cover increased costs. Don't let that happen to you :).
Bonne chance!
