This leather Cutting Head knife has no makers name or marks on it. The blade is 4 3/4" across and 2 1/4" deep - total length is 6 1/8" long. There is staining on the metal from old rusting that was cleaned away, but it is in very good condition. The handle is firm, The collar is Brass and the handle looks to be Rosewood. This is a very old knife, from the 1800's. This was just purchased from an older couple that had it hanging on their wall for for the last 25 years. The blade is sharp, but would probably need sharpening before using it on leather. A very good, usable tool, with many years left in it.
