Oh now look at this little cutie!
He is a 9"-10" Antique Teddy Bear. He Looks to be of British origin but I am not an expert. He has the distinct smell of age. He is hard stuffed with excellcior or wood wool . There is a small hole on one of his felt paw pads where you can clearly see the excellcior inside. It isnt sticking out at all, but it is visable. He has brown glass eyes, and felt paw pads that are mostly intac , with a small hole in each toe tip- one was nicely repaired long ago. . His mohair is blondish, and has some overall thinning, and a couple of tiny bald spots on his sides. One thread from his mouth is missing, and could benefit from being replaced.
He is so cute, I can bearly part with him.
He was found at a local estate auction with a collection of Steiff bears.
