Check out my other items! This watch is from the estate of John W. Snyder. Snyder was a WWI hero and good friend of Harry S. Truman. He served as Secretary of the Treasury for Truman and was a successful banker. The watch has an expandable gold color band. The case is gold color. I do not see any markings on the outside of the case or band to indicate the type of metal. The watch face is bronze color and has the minute, hour and second hands and the crystal. The watch is currently running albeit a tad fast. My guess is it needs a good cleaning and speed adjustment and you will have a smooth running old Vulcain watch.
