Antique WATERBURY Mantel CLOCK Shelf JENKINS Model

Up for your consideration is this antique Waterbury Clock Company Mantel or Shelf Clock. It is the Jenkins model, and features a glass door with Gold trim over the Clock face and works. Elaborate wood trim decorates the top and sides of the Clock, which still has its original finish.

The Clock is 22-1/2 inches high at the midpoint. The base is 15 inches wide and 4-1/2 inches deep. The weight of the Clock is about 6 pounds. On the back of the Clock is the original model identification along with the original instruction sheet.

Included with the Clock is the original Pendulum. Several pieces are missing as follows:

The Wood on the Clock Cabinet shows some wear, especially at some of the edges. Overall condition of the Cabinet is very good (see pictures above).

The Brass on the Clock face shows a variable patina. The Clock face itself has darkened from age and shows crazing on its surface when viewed up close.

The Clock mechanism has not been fully tested, but appears fully operational. When we moved the Clock, the mechanism ran fast (without the Pendulum in place) and the Clock chimed as expected. Gears and other components of the works are clean and in excellent physical condition (see pictures above). We rate the overall condition of the Clock as being in good to very good condition.

This is a fantastic antique Waterbury Clock with great visual appeal. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
