Damascened piece of hand cast as well as hand shaped and hammered iron
It was used with a charcoal for ironing cloths Used have a wooden handle lost with the centuries gone by
It has stylized decorations in relief around the handle spout as seen on the photos
It bears even dark patina characteristic for damascened iron with great age, which develops over centuries of use or just simple existence
Unconditionally guaranteed to be an 18th century piece or may be even earlier, looking at its shape and the material it was made from
Measurements: Approx. 8" long with the handle spout, 3.75": high
