| Before bidding, please review my payment policies. Sorry, I do not accept Paypal. Payment can be made with a money order, cashiers check, personal or business check. You are bidding on an Antique Xylophone Orchestra Bells Set. This neat old set sports very well made keys, measuring from an 8” long “C” down to a 4” long “C”. The keys measure slightly more than ¼” thick and slightly less than 1 ½” wide. The keys, which all sound great, show some residue from old tape and some light surface oxidation in spots. I’m guessing that this set was manufactured by Deagan, as I’ve had several identical sets in the past that were, but I don’t see the manufacturer’s name on any of the keys. The only stamping I can find is “A=440”. The keys rest in a very old wood case which is in very rough condition, with the top sort of bending up, and the lid is just about falling apart, but the lower frame section which the keys sit in is still very solid so the keys can be set in there and played as intended (did I mention they sound great?) Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item. Winning bidder pays $22.00 shipping and insurance in the contiguous U.S. plus $3.00 for packing materials with shipping to Alaska and Hawaii most likely costing more (if you are in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact me for a shipping estimate). Foreign bidders pay actual shipping costs. Canadian bidders must be willing to pay USPS Air shipping and insurance. Sorry, I do not take Paypal, I accept payment by money order/cashiers check (item ships as soon as I receive your payment) or personal or business check (must clear 10 business days). Due to the large amount of items I now auction, I can unfortunately no longer allow in person pick up of items, but if you win an auction on a large or heavy item, and you are in California, please contact me about reduced shipping costs. If you are the high bidder on one of my auctions, I will email you within three hours of the auctions closing telling you the total amount of your purchase, including shipping and insurance, along with the address to which you should send the payment and a few other specifics. CANADIAN BIDDERS: I now ship only USPS Air to Canada, so if you bid on an item, you must be willing to pay the actual cost of USPS air shipping. FOREIGN BIDDERS: If I am allowing foreign bidding on this item, it is your responsibility to be aware of any import or customs fees your country may apply to your incoming packages. Since I do not accept Paypal, I can unfortunately no longer accept bids from the UK. If you’re in the UK or one of the countries that’s being “screened” out by my not accepting Paypal, and you have interest in one of my items, please email and I’ll see what can be worked out. I have limited options for receiving payments from foreign bidders. As it stands, I can now only receive foreign payments via an international money order sent through regular mail (airmail) or via a wire service. Also, to all prospective bidders, please do not email me asking me to close one of my auctions early; as a matter of policy, I always let my auctions run to completion so everyone has a fair chance to bid. Feel free to email with any questions at TheAesthetics@comcast.net. When emailing, please include the name of the item you are inquiring about in the text of the email. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!
