- Found on our last treasure hunt at PawPaw's house ... this antique bookmark, in black and white, which has a man's likeness, then Hon. Samson Fox ... Employes F.S.P.S. Co., 1896 ... I googled both of those and didn't find anything applicable ....

- Measures 5 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches ... it is in very good condition with just a tiny bit of unraveling of the fringe at top and bottom ... I believe it is silk, and appears to be printed rather than woven ...

PawPaw is my 85-year-old father-in-law.  PawPaw and his wife Mimi were antique dealers in northern Illinois for years, and have been collectors of almost every kind of historical memorabilia since shortly after World War II.  If they thought something would have value some day, they bought and saved it.  PawPaw has always said that was his retirement account.  I tell him he was just sitting around waiting for eBay to be invented!
