Antique plate PIONEER NATL BANK of RITZVILLE WASHINGTON

A colorful  6 1/4" wide ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PLATE from RITZVILLE, WASHINGTON.  Plate has beautiful color scene of a bouquet of wild roses.   Plate was given out as a promotional piece by THE PIONEER NATIONAL BANK of RITZVILLE WASHINGTON.

• Plate reads:  "Compliments of / THE PIONEER NATIONAL BANK / RITZVILLE, WASH."
• Mark on backside reads:  "CARNATION / McNICOL"
  
• Condition:   Plate is in completely excellent condition. No cracks, hairlines, chips, or crazing.  Gold gilt on edges and on some of the lettering is a little worn.  Please see pictures for details.  There are a couple spots of made-in-manufacturing roughness on the backside.  Overall excellent!

RITZVILLE sits out in the grain growing area of Eastern Washington.  This antique plate definitely dates back to the early days of Ritzville when THE PIONEER NATIONAL BANK gave it away as a promotional piece for their grand opening or for some other special event.  A Ritzville historian and/or the Polk City Directories from the early 1900's would tell when this business got started and help date the plate in the process.   Not many of these fragile old souvenirs survived the elements of time. Not only a beautiful antique advertising plate, but also a historically significant piece as well, check it out!
