sq.ft. Antique Oak Planks
Create a rustic
or mediterranean atmosphere with this flooring option. Our solid oak planks
are salvaged from castles and manor homes in the Alsace region in France
and Black Forest area in Germany. Their age ranges from 150 - 300 years.
Our sawmill in the Black Forest carefully re-mills the planks to a 3/4"
thickness and grooves them on both sides. Once remilled we kiln-dry them
to a moisture content below 10%. The boards will have nail holes and minor
splits that give them their vintage charme. Your local hardwood floor
installer can install and finish them like a new hardwood floor.
