Up for auction is an immaculate antique Seth Thomas time only tower clock movement on factory frame. This is a pre-1900 movement that was fitted with a factory automatic winding feature (electric motor and related hardware bolted to the right side of the movement and frame) probably in the 1920's. This clock has been meticulously restored in original paint scheme as you can see by the photos. Both movement and auto wind feature function perfectly. The auto wind feature is activated once or twice per day and runs on regular household current. The clock stands 70" tall, is approximately 25" wide and 20" deep. To see this clock and auto wind feature in action visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jquJ127YUS4 . The video is a little dark but you'll get the idea. You can search very high and very low for another one of these to purchase and you may never find one, this one I can deliver and install by Christmas. Optional delivery by me is $2.00 per loaded mile anywhere in the continental U.S. from my address to yours as determined by Mapquest. Assembley by me if I deliver is an additional $600. If you want to ship it any another way I will cooperate but you will make all arrangements. I'm happy to supply more photos or answer any questions I can via email or phone at 312 593 6441. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Full payment expected within 7 days of purchase. I feel this clock movement is an amazing piece of functional history that anyone on the planet would be proud to own. Thanks for looking.
