Material: Brass and glass  
Stunning vintage Moravian Star with glass jewels. I bought this at a local estate (you can see I photographed it while it was still on the ceiling working). If I had to guess I'd say it's vintage for sure but probably 30's or 40's. Cloth wire and such but I don't think it's in the 100 year old range like a lot of jeweled pierced brass lighting. Probably from Morocco and brought back as a souvenir of world travel. 32" long and 12" wide. There are some splits in the panels toward the bottom Turkish Crescent finial. They are not structural and I would recommend just leaving them alone. Looks like this is currently the only vintage Moravian Star on ebay. A true unique statement piece.
