.This is a Fine and nice Shamshir, sword ottoman Turkish wonderful Damascus steel nice blade a light sabre  originated in   i think and used quite efficiently by various Eastern warriors in battles for centuries, the specimen offered has a very unique and rare old blade  hilt of silver. Sword is wearing a light curved blade of most  , the forte of the spine of the blade bearing a makers mark inlaid gold in two face  . The overall length is 109cm straight, the blade is 89 straight ,the sword without cover 105 cm which remained exceptionally sharp and battle-ready. Excellent condition overall and a very cool variation of this famous  (kady al hajat) and well-prized Damascus steel weapon, the cover made from pure silver from both side wonderful design relay nice and complete pieces, please view all photos

they have two stamp one (kady al hajat) and one (ased alah)this the name of workshop and in gold they have (besm alah al rahman al rahim) and anther side crescent and star and that what i believe its made for important person in ottoman am pier one expert guy say they usual don't put gold in the blade and cover   pure silver if not important man in ottoman emperor.

Damascus steel is very fames  and stronger blade in all world the secret in the wave in side and that what fames in it      .

the Damascus steel doing between 14th to 18th  for all fighter but the crescent and star it is give 100% its made for sultan or Minister   i believe its made in  16th-17th
