Appaloosa Horse Shatka Bear Step Silver Turquoise RING - Size 7

You are looking at a ring my grandfather made in about 1971.
He displayed his silver jewelry for years
at the Appaloosa Horse Club horse shows.
He died in 1980.
He started failing in the 1970s
so this is one of his last items.
This was hand cast by my Grandfather himself.
He and his wife Leone went to the turquoise mines
picked and chose excellent stones.
None of his stones had that plastic stabilizer  mixed in with them.
This is a good naturally hard stone.
This is marked with the signature 3 hoof prints (ponytracks),
a bear paw print(Bear-Step),
the word "Sterling", and the design number or year made (?) 71.

Ring is a size 7.
