Apple II vs IBM PCjr, Consumer Reports, Nov '84
Apple IIc vs. the IBM PCjr
Six and a half pages of direct, no-nonsense comparison between the Apple IIc and the IBM PCjr computers from the perspective of someone who is NOT a computer buff. The usual thorough examination of many details. Which one reigns supreme? Stay tuned.
BTW, this issue has test of other things, too: Portable Typewriters Pain Relievers Food Processors Good Hi-Fi Systems Electric Shavers Portable Heaters VHS Video Tapes Wood Splitters (same issue with computers--neat, eh?)
Anyway, this is certainly a collectible of the early days of Apple computing. Great research material and you may find some memories here, too.
The magazine is in very good condition with no marks, writing, folds, dogears, tears, mail labels, nor dealer stickers. 64 pages plus covers, stapled, 8 x 10-3/4 inches, published 1984 by Consumers Union of United States, Inc., Mount Vernon, NY.
