WHY THIS CABLE INSTEAD OF A PRINTER CABLE? A Macintosh printer cable does not connect pin to pin through the cable. The pins change from one end to another. Pin 1 does not come out pin one on the other end. In effect they rotate. If you connect two printer cables through a switch the signal will be rotated twice and be out of alignment. This cable will prevent that.
