You are bidding on a 8X Dual layer replacement Apple SuperDrive DVD-R Burner For the MacBook and MacBook Pro. The drive reads DVDs (8x) and CDs (24x), burns CDs (24x or 10x rewrite), and burns DVDs (8x). Item was pulled out from the MacBook, so it comes without the original box. It's never been used except when I tested to be 100% working.
There are several versions of the UJ-857, this is the fastest version 8x dual layer. There are also 2x and 6x versions of this drive on the market, so do not get confused with my model #.
9.5mm UltraSlim, Slot Loading Super Multi CD-RW and DVD±R ±RW DL burner. Please note that your current drive must be 9.5mm in height.
