An iMacquarium is a fresh water aquarium made out of an Apple iMac computer. It is perfect for any Apple or Mac computer fan. This unique aquarium makes a great home or office conversational piece. It takes up little space and is very low maintenance. It is the perfect home for many small tropical fish.
I build each iMacquarium myself.
All of the electronics have been removed from the iMac and a custom built fish tank is put in place where the CRT screen used to be. The aquarium comes with the filter pump and a light already installed. One electrical cord supplies power to both the filter and the light. There is a switch on the back of the case to turn the light on and off. It is ready to use right out of the box. Simply add your own gravel, decorations, water, and of course fish! The top of the case is easy to remove for feeding fish as well as access to the inside. There is room inside to store fish food and other aquarium supplies.
I build each iMacquarium myself. They are a quality one-of-a-kind item and a limited number is available.
Features:
- Each iMac computer case has a custom built fish tank mounted inside.
- I had the tanks manufactured by a plastics company for consistency and quality.
- The face of the tank is curved to better fit where the CRT screen used to be. This reduces the unsightly gap left between the tank and the frame of the computer case.
- The tank holds approximately 3.5 gallons of water!
- All tanks are tested to be sure there are no leaks.
- The filter and light are included and already installed.
- The filter is a Terra Whisper 3i in Tank Filter. Replacement filter elements are inexpensive and easy to find.
- The light and the filters air pump are connected into one 6 ft. power cord which exits out of the original power cord hole on the back of the case.
- There is a switch on the back to turn the light on and off.
- All electrical components have been protected to resist water contact.
- The faceplate simply tilts open to uncover feeding holes.
- The colored part of the case lifts off for access to the inside.
- There is room inside of the iMacquarium case to store fish food and other aquarium supplies.
- Other available colors include RED, BLUE, AQUA, PURPLE, PINK, EMERALD, SMOKE, and WHITE.
- All colors are subject to availability.
- I buff and polish each iMacquarium case until it looks as new and shiny as possible. Please keep in mind, they are made from used iMac computers and may still contain very minor scratches or blemishes.
Please contact your local pet/aquatics store for information regarding how to start and maintain a healthy aquarium.
I recycle all unused materials removed from the iMac computer in order to turn it into an iMacquarium.

Shipping and handling will be $35 for UPS Ground to the lower 48 United States.
Full shipping insurance is included in this cost.
A $15 surcharge will be added to shipments to AK, HI, and PR.

 iMacquarium side view - empty The tank is 9 inches deep on the bottom and 7 inches deep at the top! There is plenty of room to fit your hand inside to clean or re-arrange decorations.
 Faceplate tilts open to uncover easy access feeding hole. The holes are where screws used to be.

 Simple setup instructions are included. The rocker switch turns the light on and off. One 6 foot cord provides power to both the filter and light.
