You are bidding on a USED iphone 2G.  Once you replace the cracked screen (see photo) the phone will work.  The phone slipped out of my pocket and got caught under the seat of my car.  When I moved the seat to find it, it crushed the screen and cracked it.  Because I was eligible for an upgrade, I was able to get a new phone from ATT. The case does have a few dings and nicks, but won't be noticeable if you keep the phone in a case (included).
