Product Description
The first generation iPod shuffle was designed to be easily loaded with a selection of songs and to play them in random order. Owners of existing iPods had often left the music selection to “shuffle”, and the iPod shuffle was a way of implementing that in a much more cost-effective fashion. It relies on the use of an “autofill” feature in iTunes, which can select songs at random from a user’s music library (or from a specific playlist) and copy as many as will fit into iPod shuffle’s memory.

I updated this iPod to the latest firmaware version available, heaphone jack, backlight, and click wheel all work, it connects to iTunes, I downloaded songs, and it plays the music back. It passes ALL of the iTunes diagnostics tests. The iPod you receive as the winning bidder is the one pictured here. This is serial #4H546MT9RS9, a very nice working iPod with light signs of previous use, as pictured. Your iPod will arrive restored to factory settings, cleared of music save for a few test songs, ready to connect to your computer to download your tunes. Please use the supersize option to view the photos.
