For your consideration is a back issue of LIFE Magazine from April 20, 1959, showing Marilyn Monroe on the front cover.  "A Comic Marilyn Sets Movie Aglow," "Maria Callas Writes About the Callas Scandals" and "How The West Was Won, Part III."

This is the third issue in the six-part Series "How The West Was Won;" all six issues are being listed separately at this time, in case someone needs only one issue to complete a set.

Some of the pages show slight signs of wear along the edge and are a little bit yellowed (with age).  The magazine has a very faint musty smell, as most old books and magazines do, but otherwise in good condition.  All pages appear to be intact, including a lot of neat old advertisements!

I will be listing several more LIFE Magazine back-issues from the late 1950's and early 1960's and will be happy to combine shipping on multiple auction wins, to save on shipping costs.

This item is from a collection of various items consigned by a local carpenter.  He is tearing down an old house and was told to dispose of everything that was left inside.  After giving away several boxes of old "junk," he stopped by my office to see if any of the "junk" would sell on ebay.  You will not believe some of the items sitting here in my office that was considered junk by someone else!  Be sure to add me to your favorites list so you can see the items to be listed within the next week or so.
