Aquamarine is a colour variety of the mineral beryl and is known as the stone of Courage. Its name is derived from the Latin meaning ‘water of the sea’ is an apt description of the colour and clarity of the crystal. Sailors used it as an amulet to keep them safe from storms and bring them home safely.

 

Aquamarine has calming energies that reduce stress and quiet the mind. It soothes fears and confusion and promotes self expression.
