Offered for auction is this stuning Arabia of Finland, set of four lunchen plates featuring a fanciful hand painted pair of purple & yellow Bird of Paradise amongst a spray of pink Bleeding Hearts on brown stems with pale green leaves all encircled by a garland of additional pink Bleeding Hearts. The border design consists of interchanging areas of basketweave, single rose blossoms and Art Deco urns filled with flowers.
This particular Arabia Mark was used between 1917-1927. The back is also embossed with the company and pattern name...Arabia Finland Wanda
They measures 8.25" and are in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs they do have crazing and slight staining from age.
