This report presents the results of excavations of an Archaic campsite in southern Illinois.  This was a seasonal camping place of many Archaic peoples and was especially tantalizing to archaeologists because of the unusually large number of artifacts found here.  The report is illustrated with excellent photographs and line drawings.

Contains site maps and great illustrations of Hammerstones, Flint Tools including chopping tools, cutting and scraping tools, projectile points, Grinding, Milling and Nutting Stones, Bannestones, and Comparisons to other sites.
