Up for auction is a brand new hand-built & wired Aric Audio Systems tube Preamp. This version is the 1.5 and features a single J.J. Tesla 12au7 dual-triode Vacuum Tube. Completely point-to-point hand-wired for reliability. This preamp features one set of r.c.a. inputs, and one set of outputs, a Stereo volume control, front-panel power switch, and Blue LED on lamp. It is constructed from a 1/2" Birch-faced plywood enclosure with Pine sides painted a Gloss Black, with rubber bottom feet, and a brushed-steel top handle.
The power supply is an outboard 20 v.d.c., 3.5 amp regulated, switching supply. I use metal oxide resistors throughout the unit, Mylar signal caps and X-icon power supply filter caps, along with solid-core copper wiring for power, and shielded 22 gauge microphone cable for the signal.
