The technicians of The British Masters—the company responsible for restoring several other forefathers of British horology to their former glory—insist that each of the timepieces presented by Arnold & Son offers the complexities that are necessary to the worldly traveler. They are exceptional complications and some of the most beautiful timepieces in the world today.
The featured watch is an Arnold and Son Scout, the ultimate orientation tool with both triangulation and a dual time-zone. It is a great looking and very sporty watch overall. It is in a 44.5 mm Stainless Steel case with a coined edge, has a great navy blue and gold dial, and comes with two straps. One of the straps is a yellow rubber insignia strap with a Tang Buckle and the other is a polished Stainless Steel bracelet with an Arnold Deployment Buckle, which gives it a completely different look and feel, as you can see in the photos below. The two very different straps give the watch exceptional versatility, as it can go from day to night, or yacht to board room, in seconds. It has an Azimuth calculator included in the rotating outer ring and GMT display or solar compass on the central disc. It is truly amazing! It is protected by a Sapphire crystal on top, and on the exhibition caseback, and is water resistant to 160 feet (50 meters). It also has a magnified date display window at 6 o'clock. This watch has everything and more!
