It powers on and we can project a white circle either on the wall behind the unit or on the screen. The remote control is included. We aren't sure how to get the platters to move and assume that it requires the cardiology cine film to engage. We have no means to further test this system without a film. We offer it as described. It has some edge wear to the exterior paint finish. The electronics appear to be in excellent condition.
