650/1200 Low Fire Paste 10g jar. Can be used to combine unfired pieces, fill cracks, as well as other techniques. Fire as low as 1200ºF. Can also be fired with butane torch or gas stovetop. During firing this clay shrinks between 8-9%. This is more of a starter for your Art Clay Silver Paste. Add clay filings, little flakes or chips of clay to this jar to make more. Ask questions before you buy.
So what is Art Clay Silver?
When Art Clay Silver is taken out of the package, it is a slightly moist clay, composed of silver powder, organic binders, and water. The clay is then molded or worked into its desired shape, and dried. After completely drying, the clay is fired with a gas stovetop, butane torch, or kiln.
During the firing process, the organic binders burn away which results in 99.9% Fine Silver. You can count on about 8-9% overall shrinkage after item is fired completely.
