 Art Clay Silver  precious metal clay is a fascinating material which gives you amazing artistic freedom.

In a few easy steps you can create fine silver , unique, hand made pieces, using tools you probably already have at home.

You can shape it, mould it, press it, roll it, coil it, sculpt it, throw it, pull it, cut it - just as you would with any other clay. You can use slip, or paste, to glue pieces together. You can extrude the clay from a syringe to create filigree like designs. You can add fine silver wire, sterling silver, dichroic glass and other materials before firing.

After firing with a kiln, a torch, or even a gas stove it becomes pure silver.

Use the Paste to glue (wet or dry) clay parts together, for repairing cracks and filling in marks and bumps, and to add a textured surface to the clay. Can also be painted onto a burnable core, like a leaf, twig or cork clay, to create a fine silver replica.
