Description:

Beautiful Large Art Deco 20's Japanese Painting On Wood With Gold Gilt and cranes. Measures a large 36" wide x 19 1/2" tall. When purchased at the sale I was told by the previous owner that it was purchased from an antique store in San Francisco back in the mid-80's. What is really nice and unique about this painting is how as the lighting changes throughout the day so does the painting. The gold highlights and shadows change with the lighting conditions which gives the painting a life of its own. I have searched Ebay and Google without finding another painting like this. It has an old Japanese mark/stamp/signature , but I am unable to read the Japanese characters. If you have any info. regarding this painting or if you are able to read the old mark then please share what you know with me. If you are just looking for a unique and quality piece of fine art to decorate your home or office then I am sure that you will be very pleased with this one. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
