Stunning Art Deco nude lady "scarf dancer" porcelain flower frog figurine from Germany. Circa 1930's. The estimated value of a similar flower frog was $150.00 to $200.00 according to the "Flower Frogs for Collectors Price Guide" dated 2001, by Schiffer Book Company on Page #87 (see picture). Our reserve is only $49.00. The overall measurement is 7-1/4" tall, 3-3/8" long, and 2-3/8" wide. She is signed "Germany" on the bottom with some numbers (see picture). There are two holes on the bottom, and ten holes on the top for the flowers. The deco lady has short wavey hair, a beautiful face, and she is holding a draped scarf. The color is white, and the finish is glossy. The condition is amazingly very good except for one nick on the top (see picture) - there are no major chips, breaks, cracks, or repairs. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. She has a great deco look - very elegant and unique. A rare and wonderful find. Pictures don't do her justice. She is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection. Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Paypal, money orders, and checks are acceptable. Checks must clear before shipment. Thank you for bidding. |
