This is a very striking Art Deco vase made by Trenton Potteries in their pattern of stepped circles or discs. The vase is 8 1/2" high X 9" wide X 3 1/8" thick at the base and 2 1/4" thick at the top. The base is marked with the round stamp in black which reads (too light to photograph properly): 'The Trenton Potteries Co., Trenton, N. J., TAC' (Trent Art China). Vitrified Art China was made by Trenton Potteries in about the mid 1930's to mid 1940's. There are a couple of light surface scratches to the small circle on one side but overall condition is very good with no cracks, chips or repairs.

I've added a photo against a sheet of white paper to try to get a more true representation of the color of the vase. It is picking up surrounding light and showing lighter than it really is. In the new photo with the white background the mid & top rings on the left side are the closest to the true color which I would call burgundy or maroon.
