Art Glass Vase Cased Black w Gold Flecks Artist Signed

Art Glass Vase Cased Black with Gold Flecks,  4 1/2" T, 4" D.   Artist Signed but we have a difficult time reading any of the signature with certainty.  The name is indecipherable.  The name is followed by 3 letters which we believe is "GLS"  Which indicates perhaps a glass studio name.  Also has a number 7-98 which may be year of production.  Condition - excellent (see 2 below) - no chips, cracks, or cloudiness. 

1.) Mint- Like New or New; 2.) Excellent- Used but near new with very minor wear (small scratches or abrasions which are not very noticeable) 3.) Very Good- Used shows wear (scratches and/or abrasions) consistent with age of item; 4.) Fair - Shows considerable wear (many scratches or abrasions) and/or chips and/or cloudiness; 5.) Poor- Considerable wear and/or minor to severe damage
