Art Nouveau Lily Pad Lotus Silver Candlestick Pair

Description
Gorgeous Heavy Cast Rare silver and gold hollowware lotus candlesticks pair; Art Nouveau lily pads and flowers with dew drop and aesthetic pattern on stems. These are from the historic town of Sedalia, Missouri home of the 19th century Bothwell Hotel and the Missouri State Fair. The streets are lined with huge antebellum mansions and manor houses. They do not appear to have much age on them as they are in mint heirloom condition - extremely clean without even a scratch. The silver and gold plating over solid brass appears heavily plated and is 100% intact with no worn or cloudy spots - edges are not worn anywhere at all. No maker’s mark or hallmarks; not marked anywhere. Some of the lotus leaves are soldered to the piece and the others leaves with the gold sockets screw on with vintage discolored washers underneath. The underside of the piece does not appear to have been cleaned and has some patina. Everything polishes to a beautiful high shine; Never been cleaned other than with a soft cloth - no scratches and no fine spider web scratches or scuffing from cleaning with no damages and no dark or bad spots. Each Measures 8 5/8 inches wide, by 6 ¼ inches in height, and base is approximately 4 inches at the widest. Stunning Great condition - you will be the first owner of this gorgeous set. Excellent heirloom condition; No scrapes, No cracks, No scratches, No dents, No dings - much to heavy to ever dent or ding even if dropped, No pitting, No water damage or corrosion ever, Never been wet or weathered, Not bent - no bent feet, - No damages whatsoever.
