Artist Signed Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase c1887

Artist signed Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase, 11"h, c.1887.

Baluster shape, bell top, long neck. Translucent green glazed upper portion decorated with stick-spatter type green & white rosettes. Incised gilt & applied relief white bead center border surmounting textured tan ground lower portion painted with white, turquoise & gold flower blossoms. Mottled red-brown top & bottom.

Impressed "Doulton Lambeth England" & "Doulton & Slaters Patent". Godden mark #1346, "Impressed mark on special wares, c.1886-1914". Artist's initials "P.B." incised. Impressed "Ob 0287". By hand black "X4632+0". Clean excellent condition on this very fine quality Lambeth stoneware. No chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restoration.
