Arts & Crafts Embroidered Bag

Burnt Orange Double Daisy Design




 

Up for auction is a canvas shopping bag embroidered with an Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts Double Daisy.  The design is works well with Art Nouveau or mission decor (Stickley or Limbert). 

The bag measures 12 inches high and 15 inches wide and 4 inches deep with a pleated bottom and canvas handles.  This bag is sized perfectly for light shopping, books, and much more.

This design is a scaled down version of one of our designs that we normally embroider on runners and pillows.  Rather than the heavy thread we use on our linen items, we used commercial embroidery thread that is designed to wear well with heavy use and is machine washable.  This is the same thread we use on shirts and caps in our commercial embroidery business.  We have other bags in the Arts & Crafts (mission style) and Art Nouveau styles and are considering other designs including a ginkgo so be sure to check our other items.
