Amateur Handicraft is Volume VII of a 10 volume set of books called Our Wonder World.  This volume covers all kinds of hand work.  While geared toward educating kids, some of the design principals are pretty advanced by today's standards considering mechanical skills are not favored the way computer skills are.  These projects are great fun for adults as well as kids and would be great to do with kids.  The complexity of some of the designs are definately out of reach of kids.

Published at the tail end of the Arts & Crafts period, this book uses Arts & Crafts design heavily as a decorative element for the projects.  The furniture designs are typical Stickley style Arts & Crafts designs as seen below. 

There are a great number of projects in the 398 pages for every interest. including the jewelry designs to the right.

There are no printing restrictions in the document allowing you to print (non commercially) any or all pages at high resolution.
