 After winning the 2007 rookie of the year honors, NHRA Funny Car driver Ashley Force made history in Atlanta on April 27th with her first Funny Car national event win.

Not only was it Ashley's first win, but it was the first win for a female in the last NHRA category strictly reserved for the men: Nitro Funny Car. She did so by beating her father, NHRA icon John Force in the final round.
