Asprey sterling silver bullnose dishes

A handsome pair of sterling silver "bullnose" dishes by Asprey, London. These may have seen service commonly as ashtrays in a London gentlemen's club. My late father was a frequent guest. Fine patina in excellent condition. Each has bold marks on rim for Asprey & Co. London, sterling and 1957(?). Under rim is stamped "Asprey London" and the well stamped with three C's in a circle (possibly that of the metalsmith for Asprey). Size: 4.5 inches diameter x .75 inch deep.
