Here's what others have to say about the RC8: Team Associated Factory Team RC8: Good things are worth the wait Suspension seems to be where Associated sent much of its engineering horsepower, as the RC8's true innovation lies in the small details of its astounding suspension system. Raised mounts on the lower arms allow the shocks to be angled sharply inward yet retain the most desirable leverage over suspension movement. In doing this, Associated was able to create very compact woven carbon-fiber shock towers that are less likely to break during a crash, and even less likely to transfer crash forces to the gearboxes.
