Offered for sale is a beautiful and exhaustive book on the history of Astrology.  It is entitled Astrology, a history. Authored by Peter Whitfield. Published by Harry N. Abrams 2001, 1st US Edition.

Decorated with 150 color plates this lovely book traces the ancient origins of Astrology through it's ascendency in Greek and Roman Antiquity and it's subsequent ebb and periodic resurgence into modern times. This is a hardcover book with dust jacket measuring 11 3/4" x 9", 208 pages.  Black cloth boards with title in gold on spine.  Pictorial endpapers.
