Atlantic Coast Line Railway Steam Locomotives
Photographs and Documents Scanned to CD
This
Atlantic Coast Line Steam Loco CD contains many Adobe Reader
Files. It also has a folder containing jpeg photo files so you can view
them as a slide show on your TV using a DVD player.
The
first
pdf file contains all my of my ACL steam locomotive era photos, either
from original post card photos or from original or copy negatives in my
collection. The 60 plus photos are from William
Monypeny, James Bowie,
John B. Allen, Richard Prince, Joseph Lavelle and others. Most of the
files are printable to 8x10 and includes ACL locos #s 5, 35, 70, 89,
94, 106, 137, 143, 149, 169, 206, 221, 248, 264, 275, 319, 372, 373,

Another
pdf file contains over 300 pages of
ACL and predecessors rosters from my collection. Rosters are from
Richard Prince, Albert Webber and George Pettengil, all of whom
researched the original records of the ACL. The Prince rosters are the
ones used in his ACL book, but at the original letter size, not the
hard to see 4 to a page that is in the book. All these files
are
printable. These rosters stretch from old annual reports from the
1850's to the last ACL roster.
Also
included are many PDF files of the following ACL paper scans:
