In order to float harmoniously through powder, the ski needs a wide geometry- a geometry that would normally make the ski stiff and heavy. A problem Atomic solved using an ingenious system. Torsion Flex Control sectors, or TFC (TFC 10 = 6 in front and 4 to the rear). By removing material where minimum power is required for a turn, TFC makes Nomad skis light and smooth without sacrificing edge grip or performance.
