What are Bid groups ?

Sometimes, you want to win one, or a few item(s) out of a larger "bid group". For example, let's say you want to buy a watch. You find 5 auctions you are interested in, however you only need, and are willing to pay for one watch. Also, the 5 auctions you're interested in may end minutes or days apart, may have different brands of watches, and you may be willing to pay different prices, depending on the exact watch you win.

Auction Defender allows for easily configuring a bid group, and adding all related auctions to it. You can specify to win a single item, or a number of items in the group, the price you're willing to pay for each item is configurable as well. Once the group is set, you are done. The program will bid until it wins the specified number of auctions in the group, then it will cancel the remaining pending bids automatically.

Conditional Bids ?

Conditional bidding is an advanced feature allowing for even more flexibility than bid groups. It allows for setting certain logical conditions to be met before a bid is placed. For example, you may want to bid on a "Harley Davidson Leather Jacket", but only if you win that "VRSC V-Rod Harley" bike auction first ;). Point being, with conditional bids you can easily specify a condition to bid on the matching "leather jacket" auction only if you have already won the "motorcycle" auction first.  You can specify a string of conditions as well.
