Published in 1951.  My dad bought these new when considering becoming a carpenter.  He decided to join the Army instead.  Four Volume set.  Volume one discusses Tools, The Steel Square, Saw Filing, Joinery and Furniture.  Volume two discusses Builders mathematics, Drawing Plans, Specifications and Estimating.  Volume three talks of House and Roof Framing, Laying out and Foundations.  Volume four is all about Doors, Windows, Stair Building, Mill Work, and Painting. 

These books are in great condition.  Multiple illustrations and step by step instructions on all aspects of the building trades.  Great for the collector or for someone who wants to learn the old school building techniques.  Build it like you want it!  Bid early and often.  Any questions please ask.  Thanks for looking
