Product Description:

  • First published in 1946 and reprinted in 1953.
  • A concise review covering Principles and Practices of Modern Engineering
    • Including practical information for:
      • Stationary, marine, diesel and hoisting
      • Engineers' examinations for all grades of license
  • " The purpose of this book is to give to candidates for Engineers' and Firemans' licenses, the questions that they, in all probability will have to answer."
  • Realize that technology has advanced since 1946 and that this book is considered to be vintage. Still a nice read!
  • Size of book is: 5" x 6-3/4" x 1"
  • This book was found with a number of railroad related books and we think this fits since it deals with locomotive boilers.

Condition:

  • I consider this book new because it doesn't appear to have been used. Pages, cover and pictures are in excellent condition. Edge of pages are not worn and have no "browning".
