This auction is for a vintage Aurora HO scale slot car racing layout Kit #1599, c 1962, in the original box.

This kit includes the following:

3 straight road sections (one with terminal connects)
3 straight road sections (two with criss-cross lanes)
4 curved sections (9" radius)
2 speed control units
2 passenger vehicles
1 dump truck
3 manuals

Also included as a bonus are:

2 pieces 7" straight track in original packaging
2 service road turnoffs in original box
Aurora 24V motor pack transformer model A1-B
3 track bridge supports with risers

All of the above pieces are in very good condition. We've tested the cars and they are working. The set box is rough with tears and tape, and the sides of the bottom section torn away.

This item is guaranteed to be authentic. We do not sell fakes or knock-offs.

Payment:
Total payment is due within 7 days. PayPal is the preferred method of payment. We also accept postal or bank money orders. Personal checks are accepted, but shipments are held for check clearance.

International buyers: We ONLY accept PayPal internationally from Canada and the United Kingdom, and we will only ship to Confirmed addresses. All other countries must pay with an International Money Order (postal or bank) denominated in USD. Please check the shipping options before you bid. Unless other arrangements have been made, payment must be made within 7 days of the close of auction. If payment isn't received within these time periods, all orders will be revoked and an Unpaid Item process will be initiated.

Shipping Policy

Items paid for by PayPal will only be shipped to the PayPal confirmed address on the payment notice. We reserve the right to refuse any payment that does not qualify for PayPal's Seller Protection.

All items, without exception, are shipped with insurance. We add handling & packaging charges in line with the effort and materials required to pack an item well. $2 - $3 is a typical amount. Some large, heavy, and/or fragile items (for example, sets of china) will incur greater handling & packaging charges.

If your shipping address is a PO box, we will have to ship by USPS. In the event that this causes a material difference in the shipping price, we will contact you.

We pack very carefully, and will use a third party to pack if we aren't equipped to handle a particular item. Nevertheless, it is possible that an item will arrive damaged, in which case it is very important that you retain any and all packing materials for the shipping company to inspect.

We are happy to combine auctions and will pass the shipping savings on to you.

We are also happy to arrange pickup of items to avoid shipping costs, but you must pick up the item in a timely manner as our storage capacity is limited. We are not responsible for items left for more than 2 weeks after the auction's end unless the auction winner makes arrangements with us. All items, unless otherwise noted, will be picked up at our Millburn, NJ drop center or a location near Millburn.

International Shipping & Payment

Unless this item is specifically open for international shipping, we cannot accept foreign bidding without prior agreement. Please contact us for instructions.

If you are paying for an item shipping internationally, or are using a PayPal account not registered in the US, we DO NOT accept PayPal under these circumstances.

International payments may be made by an International Money Order in USD

Additionally, wire transfers are accepted, but only for amounts greater than $1000. If you are paying with a wire transfer, please make sure that all fees are paid by you (other than my bank's $10 fee) -- this includes your bank's fee and the correspondent bank's fee (they usually take $25).

Insurance will be for the full purchase amount and customs forms will be filled out accurately. If this is not to your liking, I am sorry, but please do not ask for an exception.

Returns policy

All items are sold as described. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all photos are of the actual item being auctioned.

We accept returns only if the item is materially not as described in the auction. The buyer must contact us to arrange a return within 7 days of receipt; please do not return an item without our authorization -- we will not accept delivery of unauthorized returns (i.e., those without an authorization number written on the box). The buyer is responsible for return shipping; we take no responsibility for items returned without insurance.

Please do not assume that something is included in the auction (for example, warranties, user manuals, original box, etc.), unless we state it in the description, or include photos of it.
