INTERESTING FACTS:

Felicity Shagwell, born on May 12th, 1942, played by Heather Graham, is the female accomplice of Austin Powers in the 1999 comedy film Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and a member of the CIA.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me

She is known for seducing (and having sex with) Dr. Evil's overweight Scottish accomplice Fat Bastard in order to place a tracking device inside of him. Despite this encounter, she still flirts with Austin throughout the film and has an apparent desire to have sex with Austin. Her relationship with Austin mirrors Austin's relationship with Vanessa Kensington in the first movie; there, the 90s-era Vanessa is put off by the 60s-era Austin's view of free love and promiscuity, whereas in the second movie, the time-displaced Austin is now somewhat uncomfortable with Felicity's similar views.

After destroying Dr. Evil's moon base, Austin and Felicity both return to 1999 after Austin persuades her that nothing important happens between 1969 and 1999 ("There's a gas shortage and A Flock of Seagulls... that's about it!"). After returning, Felicity and Austin make love; however, Felicity is not heard from in Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Heather Graham did film a scene for the film but it was cut from the final version and, as yet, has not appeared on a DVD release. A book, which tied in with all three films, says that Felicity stayed in the present, but realised that Austin was still in love with Vanessa Kensington. The two parted ways, but Felicity did not travel back to the 1960s, as most of the battles against sexism had already been won. Whether this was what occurred in the deleted scene is yet to be seen. Another theory is that she stayed in the present, but stayed with Austin from 10 minutes ago, while the other Austin is the one seen in the 3rd film. This can be backed up with the scene from the 2nd movie played during the ending credits, in which Felicity and one of the Austins is seen in a bed while the other Austin walks in on them. Austin at first thinks that Felicity is cheating, but when Past Austin is revealed, Austin accepts that "technically it's not cheating" and forgives Felicity, as both Austins move in on her. Felicity's complete disappearance is quite similar to that of Bond girls. Several times by fans, Felicity has been revered as the closest resemblance to a Bond Girl stereotype, bearing every applicable feature (Inappropriate name, usefulness in combat, and utter disappearance). A video entitled "Whatever happened to Felicity" explains the meaning of her departure: The scene involving her sleeping with Past Austin was originally filmed as the bed partner being revealed as Unibrow, Frau's lover from the beginning of the movie.
